2006 Thunderbird OEM Interior Trim Applique Set – Rare Collectible!
For the true collector … 2006 Thunderbird Interior Trim Sets! No, that’s not a typo … we have factory trim kits for the never-produced 2006 Ford Thunderbird! Here’s the story: Ford originally planned to produce a 2006 Thunderbird, but the project was canceled due to sluggish T-Bird sales. Shortly after the cancellation of the 2006 Thunderbird, and through our connections with Ford, we were able to acquire a few sets of the actual interior trim components that were to be used on the 2006 pre-production Thunderbird. model. These extremely rare OEM factory sets were made in both the ‘base’ silver finish and the ‘premium’ bronze finish. Our set includes trim for the dash above the glove box, side door panels, and ignition switch, power mirror, and headlight switch surrounds. The unique material with a repeating ‘Ford Oval’ pattern covers the plastic substrate pieces which snap into the various interior locations. To say these rare sets are a collector’s item would be an understatement. Never used in production and never, ever offered for retail sale, we got these sets directly from Ford’s official supplier. These pieces will never again be produced, and are available only to a few select Thunderbird owners … six sets total in the entire world!
