The original bolt-on body kit created and designed by noted former Ford designer James R. Powers lets you transform your stock 2002-2005 Thunderbird into a show-stopping, attention-grabbing custom showcar, without body work! This car made its debut at the 2002 SEMA Automotive Aftermarket Show, and generated positive reviews from J Mays and Doug Gaffka, designers of the new 2002 Ford Thunderbird. Here’s your chance to create a classic show car most people only dream of for a fraction of the cost of a one-off custom, all without cutting or expensive custom body work!
All kits and components come unpainted, include color photos and installation guide. We highly recommend having your kit installed by a professional auto body & paint shop, especially one that has experience installing aftermarket body kits.
Borrowing styling cues from the classic Thunderbirds of the 1950’s and ’60’s, Mr. Powers created an elegant modern design the recalls earlier generations of automotive design.
The Powersport ‘California Custom’ package includes our patented ‘Roadster-Style’ tonneau cover with raised headrests and unique ‘waterfall’ drop, full fender skirts and ground effects (a six-piece package), custom Front Fascia, and stylish Sport Hood Scoop. Components come ready to prime and paint. Packaging, shipping and handling not included in sales price. Due to the size and dimensions, package is shipped via truck freight.
