2002-2005 Thunderbird Rear Electronic Module (REM)-includes Ford Warranty!
also known as the Rear Lighting Control Unit/ Body Control Module/Rear Ambient Lighting Control Module – This is a genuine Ford OEM remanufactured electronic module which is the correct factory replacement for Ford part # 3W6Z13C788AA. This is one of several electronic control modules on the 2002-2005 Thunderbird. These are newly remanufactured Ford modules and include Ford’s standard parts warranty.
The following information is required to process all new REM orders:
This is a strictly-limited program and sales are subject to the following:
- Customer must provide either their existing REM, also know as the ‘core,’ or pay a core charge deposit of $ 1,499, $ 1,200 of which is refundable provided customer’s old REM core is returned within 15 business days of receipt of the replacement REM. NO ORDERS WILL BE PROCESSED WITHOUT EITHER AN ORIGINAL FORD REM OR PAYMENT OF THE $ 1,499 CORE DEPOSIT. NO EXCEPTIONS!
- Customer must provide the following data with their order:
- VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)
- Part Number
- Engineering Number (the part and engineering numbers are located on the white bar code label attached to the module.
- Current odometer (mileage) reading from customer’s Thunderbird
- The above information can be entered in the ‘Order Notes’ section of the ‘Checkout’ page
If you are NOT supplying your original REM ‘core,’ click on the following link to pay the core charge deposit:
- To qualify for a core charge refund you must return your original core to us within 15 calendar days of receipt of your new REM. Your old REM core MUST be returned in the ORIGINAL FORD PACKAGING, with the bar code label on the packaging visible and readable!
- Once placed this order can NOT be cancelled and is NON-REFUNDABLE! Cores NOT returned within the 15-day timeframe are NOT eligible for a core charge refund.
- Please note: This module will require re-programming by a Ford or Lincoln dealer or other qualified automotive repair facility. Programming fees and charges are NOT included in the purchase of the REM.
PLEASE NOTE: Price of this part, $ 1,895, is for the REM/Rear Electronic Module replacement ONLY and does NOT include ANY Core Charge deposit whatsoever. No portion of this purchase is refundable. The Core Charge Deposit of $ 1,449, if posted, is a SEPARATE transaction and is NOT included in the purchase price of the REM itself. $ 1,200 of this core charge IS refundable. The balance of $ 299 is a processing/administrative and handling fee and is NOT refundable
This is a limited time program offered by Ford Motor Company and may be discontinued at any time without prior notice. This part is covered by a Ford parts warranty for a period of one year from date of installation, however, Ford Motor Company reserves the right to use previously manufactured cores to fill orders under this program.
