1999 Thunderbird 1/18th Scale Die Cast – NAIAS – This is the hard-to-find and very collectible 1999 Thunderbird die cast model produced to promote the introduction of the new 11th generation Ford Thunderbird. These models, painted in ‘Concept Yellow,’ were only available at the 1999 North American International Auto Show in Detroit in February of 1999. This is a new, mint condition die cast model and was removed from its original packaging only for photos. Highly detailed, it features opening doors, hood and trunk, steerable wheels and a removable hard top. These models have become increasingly rare and is a must-have for serious Thunderbird die-cast collector. Comes packed in a unique yellow box which is marked with the date of its introduction, “January 3rd, 1999.”
